Alexander Beebe PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, CMT
Alex received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2016. He has been working as a physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and sports physical therapy in Georgia and began working with The Sports Rehabilitation Center in April of 2019, currently working in the Brookhaven and Midtown clinic locations. Following his doctoral program graduation, Alex has continued to strive for excellence in care through continuing education and completed his Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist Residency program and received his board certification as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in 2018. He has furthered his training and has certifications in Trigger Point Dry Needling and as a Comprehensive Manual Physical Therapist. Alex currently participates in continuing education programs were he is an active participant in clinical education of orthopaedic residents along with students participating in doctorate of physical therapy programs.
Alex is local to the Atlanta area. He grew up in the Snellville area where he played baseball and football and later was selected to the All State Georgia Baseball Team. Following high school, Alex played baseball at Piedmont College for two years. Preceding his collegiate career, Alex was plagued with an arm injury hindering his play from then on, resulting in his current passion of treating the overhead athlete, not only after injury but through preventative measures and appropriate preparation for their sport.
Outside of the clinic, Alex enjoys playing golf, softball, attending Braves games at Suntrust Park, and spending time giving presentations to youth and adult competitors and recreational athletes.
Alex is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), including the Sports section.
