Alex Lettner, PT, DPT

Alex received his Bachelor of Science with a Distinction in Movement Science from the University of Michigan, where he was heavily involved in pediatric physical therapy research. After graduation, Dr. Lettner moved to Atlanta to pursue his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University. While at Emory, he completed advanced coursework to gain expertise in manual therapy, dry needling, performance nutrition, and sports physical therapy.
A lifelong student, Dr. Lettner has remained committed to the academic research and teaching process. He has published and presented research at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting and lectured on shoulder rehabilitation for the performance athlete. He continues this work through the use of clinical case studies and community outreach, presenting on a multitude of rehabilitative topics throughout the metro-Atlanta area.
His clinical interests include the integration of strength and conditioning/performance principles into the rehabilitation process, focusing on baseball, football, and hockey athletes. Outside of the clinic, he can be found enjoying time cooking, playing hockey, and hiking.
