Alex Lettner, PT, DPT
Alex received his Bachelor of Science w/ Distinction in Movement Science from the University of Michigan, where he was heavily involved in pediatric physical therapy research. After graduation, Dr. Lettner moved to Atlanta to pursue his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University. While at Emory, he was heavily involved in advanced coursework in manual therapy, dry needling, performance nutrition, and sports physical therapy.
A lifelong student, Dr. Lettner has remained committed to the academic research and teaching process, having published and presented research in pain science at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting and lectured on shoulder rehabilitation for the performance athlete. He continues this work through the use of clinical case studies and community outreach, presenting on a multitude of rehabilitative topics throughout the metro-Atlanta area.
His clinical interests include the integration of strength and conditioning/performance principles into the rehabilitation process, focusing heavily on hockey, football, and baseball athletes. Outside of clinic, he can be found enjoying time cooking, playing hockey, and hiking.
