William Duncan, PT, DPT:
Will earned his B.S. in Exercise and Health Science from Kennesaw State University in 2008. During his tenure at Kennesaw State, Will was a member of the university’s wrestling team where he participated as both a team captain and coach. In 2010, he became a member of the inaugural Physical Therapy class at Mercer University receiving his Doctorate in 2013.
Will’s treatment style is based heavily in manual therapy and instruction of self treatment techniques to restore local and global mobility while preserving requisite stability. Will’s interests lie in sports injuries, rehabilitation for return to sport, sports performance for the tactical athlete and the utilization of dry needling in conjunction with manual therapy for improved performance.
He is a member of the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia (PTAG) and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) including the Sports and Orthopedics sections. He has his Crossfit Level 1 Trainer Certificate and possesses additional certifications in Dry Needling, Corrective Exercise, Performance Enhancement and the Functional Movement Screen.
Will continues to be an avid weight lifter as a member of Crossfit East Cobb and remains active within the wrestling community.
