Christynne Papincak, PT, DPT, OCS:
Christynne received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the City University of New York at Hunter College in 2010. Prior to graduate school, Christynne attended Clemson University where she earned a Bachelor’s in Health Science and played for the Clemson Women’s Basketball Team. She is a member of Georgia Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) including the Sports and Orthopedic Sections. She has extensive training in intramuscular manual therapy for trigger point release and myofascial dysfunction, as well as specific manual techniques. She has also completed an APTA credentialed Orthopaedic Residency Program through Mercer University in 2014 and received her Orthopedic Specialty Certification. Christynne’s special interests include post-operative rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, exercise prescription and sport specific training.
She loves working with driven and hard working patients as she facilitates them to achieve their goals and return to their normal and active lifestyles. Christynne has worked with all levels of athletes ranging from high school to professional since 2010. She also currently works extensively with the Morehouse College Athletic Department rehabbing their student athletes. In addition, she is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor and educates doctoral students during their clinical rotations. Christynne has also done research on fitness assessments in overweight and obese adolescents. She is an avid runner and enjoys spinning, yoga and tennis.
